Zeke’s Story

My family and I fostered Zeke for over a year. During that time he was adopted and returned twice. Zeke didn’t have an easy life to start with. He was fearful of men and very dog selective. He struggled with self regulating his excitement and couldn’t calm down easily. With the help of Caitlin Morrow (dog trainer and behaviorist), we learned how to provide structure and predictability in Zeke’s daily life. This calmed his anxiety greatly. In the end, Zeke chose us to be his forever family. He makes us laugh every day and is the most loyal pet a person could ask for. He wasn’t an “easy” dog but with time and lots of love he settled into our family and we can’t imagine our lives without him.
