Wow! We can't believe the 2025 Shelter Slumber Pawty is so close! We have four months until the event on Friday, April 4th. What is the Shelter Slumber Pawty? We are glad you asked!
It is an event where animal welfare organizations and animal lovers across the US, and beyond, come together to raise awareness and lifesaving funds to support animals and their communities.
Thanks to over 240 donors/sponsors, Sarge's Animal Rescue raised over $24,000 in 2024 for our everyday needs like medical and vet care, housing, training, food, and more. We go LIVE on Facebook for 24 hours and have staff and volunteers come and sleep at the shelter while we share us doing activities like:
Dog and cat paintings, by the actual dogs and cats where we auction them LIVE!
Laser Therapy Rave Party where we had Heal House Call Vet provide free laser therapy for some of our old timers.
Locking up Board Members in our outside 10 x 10 until we raise a certain amount of money.
Dog and Cat charcuterie boards.
A pack walk.
Reading bedtime stories to our population.
And so much more! We are so excited to have more fun experiences raising money for our Medical Fund this year, which is our main focus!
