Sarge’s runs a volunteer and foster program that encompasses Sarge’s Adoption Center.We also have volunteers that work at PetSmart in Waynesville, providing enrichment, and cleaning the cages of the cats there.
We have various opportunities available for getting involved. At orientation, we will discuss the different roles filled by volunteers, safety precautions, training opportunities, complete training for dog handling, cat handling, dog body language and cat body language and sign the legal paperwork needed. After this, you will get the behind-the-scenes tour of the adoption center and will be ready to volunteer!
