Annual Mast General Store Gift Wrap

Sarge's Mast gift wrap sign-up

Volunteers are being sought to help with Sarge’s Animal Rescue Foundation’s Gift Wrap Project at Mast Store in Waynesville during the holidays. The volunteers will wrap gifts for donations from Dec. 2 – Dec. 24 in the Mast General Store lobby, but sign-ups and supply donations are needed now.  Mast shoppers can bring their purchases to the Sarge’s gift wrap table and the volunteers will box and wrap holiday gifts for a donation.

“Joey Fuseler, manager at Mast General Store Waynesville, has generously invited Sarge’s Animal Rescue Foundation back again this year for the annual gift wrap project,” said project co-coordinator Tish O’Connor. “One hundred percent of the donations go towards taking care of the homeless dogs and cats at Sarge’s.”

To help with this worthwhile project, Sarge’s need donations of white tissue paper, bows, gift bags and dispenser scotch tape rolls. Please drop them off at Sarge’s Adoption Center, 256 Industrial Park Dr. Waynesville, during Sarge’s hours, from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday – Friday, and from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Saturdays. Or supplies may be dropped off at the Mast General Store on Waynesville’s Main Street, after Dec. 2.

“We are very grateful to Joey Fuseler and Mast General Store for giving up a portion of their lobby during the busy holiday season for Sarge’s gift wrap station,” said Sue Libera, Sarge’s project co-coordinator. “We hope you will participate and bring some holiday cheer to Sarge’s deserving animals.”
